 usage of Renderer.enabled

usage:

An attribute which makes the rendered 3D object is visible or not. If it is set to false, the object will be set to be invisible.

You can hide the gameObject with the following code:

Render rend=this.gameObject.GetCompoent<Renderer>();

 rend.enabled=false;
